Activities in Krabi
Krabi province has many great outdoor activities to offer. However, if you are more leisurely inclined you can take advantage of beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops. The following are activities we recommend, however, there are plenty more activities we do not have space to list.
Scuba Diving
Chris, your host has many years of experience as a diving instructor diving in and around Thailand and he can advise you or even guide you around any of the dive sites on offer. If you just want to try diving or want to complete a PADI dive course, both can be arranged.
Snorkelling/Island tours
Snorkelling trips to the Phi-Phi Islands are very popular, but most of all you should not miss the legendary sunset snorkel trips to our local islands.
Temple Visits
The Tiger Temple is a challenge to young and old alike. With its 1300 rather large steps it is best ascended in the cooler hours of the morning. At the top expect to find spectacular scenery of the surrounding mountains. There are also smaller challenges with beautiful temples in the region.
Rock climbing
The Railay Peninsular is famous for its magnificent limestone cliffs, great for beginners and experts alike.
Tree-top Adventure
This is a highly recommended trip into the jungle. Launch yourself from tree to tree along zip-lines, with 3 different levels of height and difficulty.
Water Park (Phuket Airport)
About 2 hours drive away this water park offers a fun day out for the kids.
Muay Thai Boxing
Always worth a try out, but if you rather watch there is a good show on offer once a week in Aonang.
Cobra Show, Elephant Trekking,
Motor Sports and much more ...
It would be a pity not to come to Thailand and visit some of the “tamed” local wild life….. take quad bikes, elephants or a hiking trip into the jungle…….the cobra show will give you a chance to see or even handle live snakes.
